Khadi Silk Camp Shirt
We've been completely knocked out by this new brand, Harago, out of India. Their pieces are a mix of collection pieces and beautiful one-offs. This is the latter.
Let's get it out of the way - this fabric is absolutely stunning. This is a handspun and handwoven silk - the stripe on here is not a print, but rather woven into the fabric. The yarns are a mix of ecru and a light tan for an insane depth of color, and the hand on the fabric is very dry to the touch - much like linen with an excellent drape that breathes beautifully in the summer heat. Slightly boxy fit - cut like a typical camp shirt with a spread collar, straight hem, and a boxy fit, and two pockets at the hem. Model is 5'8" and 150 lbs and wears a medium.
- Cut and sewn in India
