An absolutely phenomenal fabric from Still By Hand! This fabric is called a kersey cloth (first woven in England in the 13th century!) - it's a super heavyweight, ridged fabric similar to a super burly bedford cord, that you can pass on to your grandchildren. The fabric starts off stiff and heavy but will break in and soften over time. Still by Hand cut these in a high rise and full leg fit, akin to trousers from the 30s and 40s. Two front pockets and one flap back pocket. True to size - model is 5'8" and 150 lbs with a 31" waist and wears a size 1 (that's a bit big on him - sizing is roughly size 1 = 32, size 2 = 34, size 3 = 36).
