3S48 Heavyweight Loopwheeled Jet Black Sweatshirt

The absolute standard.  These sweatshirts from Merz B Schwanen are an absolute beast.  Heavyweight (420 grams), loopwheeled on vintage machines in Germany, and perfectly fitted, you can't find a better sweatshirt.  This is the heaviest piece that Merz makes, cut with a thick waistband and cuffs, with the signature pizza slice on the collar and triangular inserts under the arms.  These are made of 100% organic cotton but that buries the lede - the loopwheeled fabric will hold up for decades. Put quite simply, this is the best quality sweatshirt you'll find. Slim fit - these will shrink (they're cut longer to accommodate that inevitable shrinkage) and sizing up is recommended.  Model is 5'8" and 150 lbs, normally wears a medium and wears a 6, equivalent to a large.  I've had one for years and it's been through multiple trips through the wash (and one or two through the dryer) and now fits perfectly.
